Not showing up for Ryanair flight

    Hi.
Myself and the OH booked return flights to Brussels (Friday - Sun). After we had booked we ended up getting really good deal on the accommodation (Thursday - Sunday).

I looked up getting the outbound flights changed.
    ~€35 each.
I then looked up just booking new outbound flights for the Thursday.
    €18 each.

So we booked the Thursday flights.
Would I be right in assuming there's no issue with us just not showing up for our Friday flights and still returning on our original return flights?

Not looking for any money back or anything, just want to make sure we don't face any problems on the return flight because we 'missed' the original outbound flight.

    Cheers
    P

    No issue at all

No issue at all, many have done very similar. You can probably get a refund of the vat of the non-used flight but they’ll most likely charge an admin fee to negate any value

You should double check with Ryanair, a friend did similar on another airline and they cancelled his booking for the return leg when he never showed up for the outbound

Cheers guys. Yeah we're not bothered about the money on the original flight. Just assumed it would be lost completely anyway.

Assuming when we go to check in online we should check in for the outbound anyway (as we'll need to check in for the return), or should I not check in and wait for the Friday flight to pass before checking in for the return?

    Cheers,
Might give them a ring to be sure.

Ryanair is a point to point airline. They don't do return flights. Every single flight counts as a completely independent flight. No need to call them.

There's no VAT and we have no flight taxes ex-Ireland anyway

Ryanair are a point to point airline - they don't do returns - just 2 single journeys.
