    Cspan

    He's brought a **** tonne of attitude.

It reminded me of how Kavanaugh behaved at his hearing. Probably they were his instructions

Rep Jim Jordan (R-OH) is going all in on this targeting of Rod Rosenstein.
Edit trying to wrangle Whittaker into saying RR has requested investigation of US citizens instead of specific crimes.

Can an Attorney General, acting or otherwise, be indicted for perjury?

    Yes.

And besides, he will no longer be AG when Barr is confirmed next week

Is Nadler a first time committe chair?
He seems unsure on the rules and procedures, and ill at ease in the role.

Whitaker must have had Botox - not a bead of sweat.

Only watching this last half hour, no real killer blows landed - I was hoping Whitaker would go full Judge Kavanaugh..

Nadler is well respected, but he strikes me as a little unpolished. I've heard him in multiple interviews before today and while likeable, he comes across a little nervous. Hopefully he'll grow into the role.

Although he's clearly reading it out, his final statement has redeemed himself fully!

I see Candace Owens has put her foot in it with some dumb Hitler comments. It was obvious from the start intellectually she isn't very bright after listening to her "debating" certain points. She could have continued her "break free from the Democrat plantation" spiel and continued to make a pretty buck off it but time and time again she just lands herself in it which in turn makes the conservative movement look stupid. Hopefully that's the end of her getting media time.

Whitaker looks like someone bought the school jock a suit and pretended he could read. An absolute bloodbath, with Whitaker's answers breaking into 1. "I don't know." and 2. "I don't care." He wasn't unduly perturbed as he's going back to his hodcarrying job next week.

My gut instinct was that whenever he was asked a question about Trump, he would pause, ponder, and then lie.

Owens is a grifter who I don't think anyone takes seriously. Similar to her fella Charlies Kirk, both drop incredibly tedious memes non stop without ever tackling their base and obviously zero solutions to anything. The left wing version of them is the Krassenstein brothers ..." RESIST~! PUTIN ~~~!!!

Its a great time to be a grifter though with how insane people on are on both sides. Owens will be fine, she will still get her money, but once someone younger and more polished comes along doing her same grift, Owens will be a nobody.

Been a great week for The Donald.
Epic SOTU speech, with the networks and even partisan polling companies reporting 70+% approval rating from those who watched it .

Meanwhile a number of 2020 em candidates have already torpedoed their own campaign ships, Warren continues to pay the price for claiming Indian ancestry.

Virginia Dems are imploding as not 1, not 2 but 3 top Virginia Dems are all embroiled in one scandal after another, whilst the left expose their double standards. If these were GOP officials it would be an internet meltdown.

Matthew Whittaker dsplays the kind of strength Trump needed in an AG, as he confronts a partisan hearing head on and frustrates their attempts .

And the Mueller continues to go no where on establishing Russian Collusion. Its apparrent that its going no where as the Dems now switch tack and go after a tax investigation in the hope this will get their man.

The Democratce party continues to implode as AOC and theleft progressives create division with Nancy and established DNC policy .
All this as we gather in the run up to 2020. ITs been a stellar week.

Trmp already has enough talking points to destroy any DNC candidate in 2020.

In Germany we call this "Deutsche Truppen marschieren siegreich auf allen Fronten!"
Meaning German troops are marching victorious on all fronts.
It was the mantra for the last few years of the war.
I see some posters are fervently clinging onto very noisy and optimistic propaganda.
The term Bunker Mentality was borne of this as well. ;)

For those who don't know, Bezos is the founder of Amazon, is literally the wealthiest man on the planet. He recently divorced his wife, and he personally owns the Washington Post (i.e. it's not a subsidiary of Amazon).

Bezos is tremendously wealthy, said to be worth around $140bn but some reckon Putin is richer and worth north of $200bn
Last year, Hermitage Capital Management CEO Bill Browder told the Senate Judiciary Committee that he believes the Russian president is "the richest man in the world" with a net worth of $200 billion. Browder has some bona fides to back up his Russia connections; the financier's firm was once the largest portfolio investor in Russia.

Officially Putins annual salary is $137,000. But that is buttons compared to shaking down billionaire oligarchs in return for protection from the Russian state

It was a great week, I listed most of the accomplishements , heres another one .

I wouldnt call launching a Womens Global Development Initiative , as achieving nothing. ... its aim are to reach 50 million women in developing countries, empowering and developing buisnesses. Meanwhile AOC is wearing matching her couture colurs to what ever is her current agenda, white coat for SOTU, green coat to launch a Green Deal to ban farting cows.

    https://www.whitehouse.gov/wgdp/

yep , the main stream news are caught up in protecting Jeff Bezos, meanwhile the TRump Administration gets on with doing good work.

And the anti-trumpers on boards, think nothings being done, and make poor German analogys to the destruction of The Third Reich. Anti-TRumpers are like Chamberlain getting off that plane in Heston waving his piece of paper, everytime they think they have TRump they are waving some story bout like its the final nail. Theres plenty being done, just nothing being reported.

Ad speaking of Germany , looks like business and economic leaders there are worried about growth and possible slipping into recession, they are feeling the pinch from TRumps trade policy, bringing jobs back to America , whilst the might of Germany suffers . And to think 99% of commentators here probably still think Trump administration didnt know what they was doing on trade.

Its a long game folks, the longer it goes on , the better its getting for TRump.
So far its proved a winning strategy.
Watched 13 Hours again last night , one of my fave movies, what a clusterfk, even the missus was raging how Hilary let that develop on her watch.

No, you're just inanly listing everything Trump does. And even in your list of 'accomplishments' as you call them, he only did one thing - made a speech.

But anyway, givin you just stupidly list everything as successful, you should understand that doing something and actually achieving something are very different.

See your chamberlain example. Someone claiming success but actually achieving nothing.

By the way, did you just compare Trump to Hitler in doing that?

Liz Warren has declared her candidacy for the Oval Office, including a push for a big structural change. Have to wonder if she is referring to the U.S. electoral structure.

I'd be fine with President Warren tbh. I would prefer a new generation to be running this time round though. Eg Harris, Booker or Beto. I think they'll win as long as they don't run Eric Trump or something tbh.... It's really for the taking this time round.

She's an establishment 'socialist' in American politics and very far from Clinton tbh, that's a bit of a stretch. Maybe in the Sanders, Ocasio- Cortez era of American socialism, Warren is now old hat so suppose stands to reason she might be seen as "the sell out" candidate. But she ain't Clinton.

Still, the native American nonsense is enough reason to preclude her from being a good candidate. Trump and his enablers has shown to be more than happy to slum it with personal ad hominem jibes towards Warren. She'd struggle to get past the personal attacks and get a message across

Whilst throwing back women's rights in the US back by 50 years.

The Trump Justice Department’s definition only considers physical harm that constitutes a felony or misdemeanour to be domestic violence – meaning other forms of domestic violence such as psychological abuse, coercive control and manipulation no longer fall under the department’s definition.

Since you just unthinkingly parrot Trump propaganda, this won't interest you anyway.
