Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Old attic bedroom doesn't conform to modern height standards?

What's the story on retrospective application of rules?

There's this old cottage with an original stairs leading to a landing off of which two attic bedrooms. Neither of the rooms would conform (head heightwise) to current standards for attic bedrooms.

If I were to put in an application to install a small dormer to each bedroom, would their non-conformance with modern standards be an issue. Or would the planners accept that bedrooms they are historically and consider the dormer on own merits?

    Cheers.
