Terrible defensive play-calling by Philly. They've tried a simple go route 4 times in the past 3/4 drives and yet go press on Cooper with a DB who wasn't on the roster for the first 7 weeks.

The Eagles had a defender(I can't remember who) in the middle of the field like a spare at a wedding. Stupid ****e. That call on Dallas Goedart was a terrible call.

    Amazing catch by Agholor.

    TD Eagles.

Agholor catch was great and Sproles has been such a special player for so long now.

100% the right call going for 1.

Helmet to helmet ? I won't complain but since I started watching the game in the middle of the third quarter there have been some woeful calls by the officials.

What are Philly doing lol. Had Gallop not stalled that was going to the house.

fletcher cox you legend. Does anyone find the way the americans pronounce Maher as very strange.

I'd imagine Chris Boswell will be looking for a job after tonight. He has been poor all season and missed two tonight.

Boswell ? I saw no scores since the early games bar the Eagles game. Did the steelers lose to the raiders ?

The Steelers lost to the raiders.

And we got beaten by SF.

    Predictions taking a hit.

Jaysus that's a bad result for the steelers.

Is Conner likely to be back next week?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,796 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

Ben missed most of the second half with an injury. Came back in for a drive late in the 4th, and led them to a quick TD.

What is Aikman talking about ? Two downs can't run the clock down from more than two minutes.

    Wow!

That Amari Cooper trade is working out well for Dallas!

    Blessed doesn't even cover it.

    Some luck there.

Cooper with 3 tds on the night. He has been brilliant since he went to Dallas.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,394 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

If the eagles were going to lose the game I'd prefer if they lost on a good play by the cowboys not a jammy play like what happened.

Anyway to take my mind off the Eagles losing. I saw the "miracle in miami" live and those hardly ever work but there must be a Patriot curse in that stadium, but can someone explain why Gronk was on the field ? Also he seems to stumble a bit on the play.

They seemed to think there was a chance of a Hail Mary, but he shouldn’t have been out there. No fault on Gronk not being able to cover the last play, not his thing. He did his damage on offense.

Trubisky looks worse than expected. Should never have been 'rested' last week. It cost us that game and he's so rusty after 3 weeks out it might cost us this one despite the D playing excellent.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,400 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

Fake the handoff to the defensive tackle and throw it up for the swing tackle to score.

    As you do.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,438 ✭✭✭j8wk2feszrnpao

    Crazy amount of turnovers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,400 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

Big quarter coming up. The Rams offense has been awful so far but it's still Jared Goff playing against a D that has struggled to close out games in the 4th.

Bears offense will probably need another score.

Bears D is scary good , they have to be as Trubisky isnt great .Hopefully they see it out really cant stand this rams team.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,400 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

    What a great win.

Hopefully Trubisky gets back on track next week. I'm going to put this one down to being rusty after 3 weeks away. If the D didn't step up huge tonight that dumb decision to rest him last week would have cost us both games.

They can start taking us seriously now anyway.

Nah. Rams only lost because it was cold. Deion Sanders and Shannon Sharpe said so.

  • Registered Users Posts: 394 ✭✭rebelyell99

I know everyone will expect it to be saints and rams in the Nfc champ game but i got a feeling bears or cowboys could spoil the party.I wouldnt put it past chicago to win in L.A tbh.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,156 ✭✭✭✭Foxtrol

Nice win but I still haven't bought into the Bears going far at all in the playoffs.

As I said the weekend before they lost to the Giants on the road, they haven't had a win against a decent team on the road all season and struggled against some very poor teams.

Talk of them going on the road and taking out either the Saints or Rams is possible but still very unlikely.

  • Registered Users Posts: 981 ✭✭✭Lionbacker

I think the Rams have lost their form, since coming back out of the bye.
I saw the game between them & the Lions last week & they were awful in that game too. Detroit legitimately had a shot at winning it late in the 4th quarter, although the final score wouldn't show it, with the Rams scoring two late TD's.
Goff has looked very off in both games throwing 5 interceptions.

Have to wonder can they find some momentum before the playoffs start.
