Hi folks. Looking at buying a 4K TV, making the move from full HD for the first time. Am torn between two models, QE55Q9fn and OLED55E8PLA. Could you advise the difference please and would you have a recommendation? Main use will be gaming, but also watching blu rays.

Saw a review which suggests the Samsung is the better model, whereas others seem to suggest OLED is the best option generally. Any advice greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hey PenguinMan.

They are both totally different technologies.

The OLED in my opinion is the superior panel. I own one myself :)
The LG supports Dolby vision the QLED does not.
The LG also has a built in Atmos soundbar which gives incredible sound for a television.

We have QLED and OLED running side by side in store and both are fantastic televisions but for me the OLED still wins through.

    Hope this helps a little.

    Hey PenguinMan.

Stock is good on the QLED but the OLED55E8PLA has ran out and an ETA is being chased.

Delivery is usually 2-4 days depending on location. (Providing stock is available).

Last shipment for delivery would be Tuesday 18th or Wednesday 19th.

    Hey PenguinMan.

Really only within a 10 mile Radius of our Belfast store.

Where are you based as I might be able to recommend someone to you.

Quick note to send my thanks for the extremely fast delivery! The TV arrived the following day. Haven't had the chance to test it out yet, but was very impressed with the turnaround time.

    Thanks again.
