    Hi there

Looking for options for a projector. Budget is about 500 euro ideally.

Full HD, quiet running and good lumens rating are my must haves (will use in rooms with a bit of light on occasion).

Will generally be used at distance of 4-5m. Not sure if that is short throw or standard territory? Would be interested to know what range of screensize this distance would result in and if models have zoom capability to change etc.

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks!

    Hi elbyrneo,

The best projector around that budget would be the Optoma HD143X at 529 euro:

It has better brightness and contrast than its competitors in that price bracket.

4-5m is quite a far distance and would give you quite a large screen size. We have our demo unit 3m from the screen and it is 92" diagonally.

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David
