Eir Mobile Account This number is no longer active

    Hi,

    I upgraded a couple of weeks ago and today when i logged into myEir Mobile I am getting this message:
    This number is no longer active

    I understand this is probably related to my account being moved to a new database so do I need to register again?
    I also have home phone/tv etc registered the same but this remains on the old database so will this be an issue if I have to re-register?

    Hi,

    I upgraded a couple of weeks ago and today when i logged into myEir Mobile I am getting this message:
    This number is no longer active

    I understand this is probably related to my account being moved to a new database so do I need to register again?
    I also have home phone/tv etc registered the same but this remains on the old database so will this be an issue if I have to re-register?
    any rep on here that can advise me? I actually have some bit of a life so am unable to wait on the phone for an endless amount of time

    I am having the same issue. I changed my sim only plan and am now getting a message that the number is no longer active

    I think it has something to do with having to move to New database but still waiting for Eir to confirm and rectify the problem.
    Ui probably pointing to old database which would no longer exist if you account info was moved to another database

    When this happened to me, I simply re-registered. That fixed it.

    I was going to try that but I also have home account so can I reregister with same email so.i keep the 2 together still?
    Eir should be providing this info too though

    When your upgrade was processed you would have been changed over to a different system so the my eir account will no longer recognise your currently details as they have closed down. 

    You will need to register again with the details from your new account and you will be back up and running again.

    Hi sutrra, 

    When you log into your my eir account you can remove your old account number and re-register with your updated account number. 

    If you have any problems doing that could you PM me the following details?
    1. Mobile Number
    2. PIN Number
    3. Account Name
    4. Account Number
    5. Address
    6. DOB
    7. The email address you used for your my eir account?
