    Hi, if I transfer money from bank of Ireland to AIB on a Friday evening, when will it be in the other persons account? Thanks

    Should be there by Monday evening at the latest.

    Depends on what you mean by 'evening' - if you miss the Friday processing then it might not be in the AIB a/c until Tuesday.

    You need to make transfer before 3.30pm to get there next day.

    Depends on the bank. KBC's cut-off is midnight (e.g. you make a credit transfer at 23:30 on Monday, it will be credited to the recipient's account by close of business Tuesday)

    He mentioned Bank of Ireland to AIB hence my response that the transaction has to be completed with Bank of Ireland before 3.30pm.
