Whoever kicked the ball before the defender handles it should get the assist, at least that was the rule a couple of years ago. I’ve no idea who it was tonight.

Defence carried my team this week, 41 points between my three defenders (Luiz, Digne and Kola(c)), just over half my total! A paltry 6 between Auba and Kane, hang your heads.

Digne really might have saved my season there. 64 (-4) Salah-less, with main rival hitting 80 with Salah captain. I'll actually take that! He was 4k overall before tonight and has Richi + 3 from bench. Probably another rise for him. I'll prob be 90/100pts behind him, but I still maintain I can come back.

Midfield of Salah (21), Pereyra(8), Ricky(7), Fraser(2) and Anderson(12) giving me the majority of my haul.

Even captaining Salah wouldn't have got me the ton so fair bloody play to those that hit it this week.

92. Had Salah (c), Snodgrass, Robbo, Doherty, Ricky, and Digne. They guy who was top of my money league is on 38 (-4). That's a 58 point swing this gameweek alone! I was 120+ points behind him a few GW's ago. 24 points ahead today. I was 10k before tonights match so should see me jump some more. Delighted with the GW, delighted!

A small 8k drop to 32k.

Not a good start for the wildcard especially as I ditched Salah for Sterling, but long term I think it should pay off especially as I have Kane, Aubamayeng, Sterling and Sane now.

Defence of Robertson, Digne and Kolasinac saved my bacon.

This will go down as one of my darkest GWs. The only silver lining is that by some miracle I survived in the LMS.

Why was there no assist awarded for Dognes goal ?
The player who played the ball up for the handball (Keane or coleman can’t remembwr who it was ) should surely have gotten it ?
Fairly sure I actually got one from Trippier a few weeks back for similar . They have definitely been awarded this season already.
The lack of consistency on Assists is absolutely ridiculous

Pretty sure it was Coleman, which after an og would annoy owners even further!

Am guessing here. But is it because they don't give handball assist for a free only a penalty?

Dropped 40k to 69k OR, annoying as 38 points behind ML leader but plenty of time to catch up, teams are quite different.

Miss the cup, allows me to concentrate on the league (just give me a laugh, it's been a bad week)

Teams in decent shape though so not overly worried, one of those weeks. Hoping Kane & Eriksen come through unschathed this evening and give me a monster score this week
