No time wasters or tyre kickers or swaps for your PlayStation 2.

Thats most of the cars up on this thread the last few days after you attempt to pull them out of their respective hedge/bush/tree!!!

Rust correction is a very gentlemanly way to put it P. :D I really don't know what planet these eejits are on, but remember if 100 is an average IQ you have as many below that line as you have above it.

Maybe they're buying and selling to each other in some alternative universe economy.

That last line is absolutely hilarious and probably hilariously true.

    Speaking of rust.

If it was a mk2 escort he'd be eaten alive for it for multiples of that price. It's one for the brave but its saveable.

The transmission is the weak point on those cars BTW.

Are you sure he didn't put in an extra "0" by accident on this price, because a decent one like that would sell for around that much money (and that one is on UK plates anyway)

The kit looks terrible on that imho. They're a good little car but that one is not worth 9k.

I posted that a few days ago but not in this thread mind you but I do agree with you it is not worth any where near that. He will not sell that unless he drops the price significantly.

Price is now €1111 - bit more realistic? :pac:

I hate that kind of BS. Just put in the price you want for the car. Just put in the price you want for the car even if it is away of the charts. The market will decide after that its worth or even if its worth calling you.

He has the price that he's looking for in the description.

I spotted that too, but just put the price in as it should be so it'll fit in where it should when people put on filters. Plenty more POA and €1,234 crap on Donedeal too.

I couldn't agree more, I hate when sellers do that.

How dare you ask questions about a 20k purchase... Just turn up, hand over the big wad of cash and take your chances.

Am I missing something? I thought the MK1 Golfs stopped being made in the mid 80s? That car has a 91 reg?

Its a stunning car in fairness, I've no idea what its actually worth. Just one thing, the person that will buy that will be a collector. Collectors want originality, and I'd hope he still has the original sound system for it and that no extra holes had to be made to fit it. He should have tidied up the wires coming from the speakers in the boot pic.

The golf cabriolets kept the MK1 body shape until 1993.

Decent spec infariness but i agree hes asking mad money.
No nct, car was originally red and now black but needs more work to make it "mint" which to me screams, the paint is in s**t and needs a full respray. Usually the case but not always. :pac:

And again shíte pics that tell any potential buyer feck all. No interior shots, no under bonnet engine shots. Them looking cleaner than average would get more interest. I always think either a) seller hasn't a blind clue, or b) interior and under the bonnet looks grim.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
