Hello, I cannot find any clear answer for this on Google. Do waterproof cases like Catalyst and Pelican block sound from being recorded when shooting video? I cannot find any clear answer for this on Google.

Do waterproof cases like Catalyst and Pelican block sound from being recorded when shooting video?

If it does record sound then how if the case is meant to be sealed?

Do such case usually also cover the home button?

Does anyone here use a waterproof case? Does the film covering the camera affect photos or video or does it have no affect at all?
