Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Assistance with heating system

    Hi All,

    I have an older heating system.
    Solid fuel, open fire with back boiler and a pump.

    I am having some issues this year, I lit a small fire in October and the rads heated but there was no hot water in taps.
    I haven’t lit the fire since.

    Today I lit the fire and again I have no hot water in the taps and the rad that usually heats up first has no heat in it.

    I have seen posts suggesting this is an airlock issue, but I have previously had the rads and pump bled.

    I looked online to try and find someone that looks after this type of heating system, but I have been unable to find someone (everything seems to mentions gas/oil)

    So I am looking for some DIY assistance to resolve this issue or for some recommendations for companies that are based in this area.(Dublin 11)
