Facing a Yank for the second week running.

Difference being that this team is active and fairly well setup.

Up against a guy from Ghana who is 5.2 million in the world and active. He won his last cup tie 36-30. He has a good strike force but no premium midfielders. His midfield last week was Torreira, Eriksen, Kante and Fernandinho.

Not taking anything for granted though.

My opponent has only 7 playing members in his whole squad but he is 11 points ahead of me now. He has captain Salah and Milivojevicto thank for that.

Despite only scoring 32 points I managed to squeeze through on goals scored against a live team. The only highlight of a miserable week.

Ended up on 50 and cup opponent's team finished 48(-8). Points hits not significant in the end thanks to Trippier and Richarlison scoring for me and opponent playing Digne with his 6 goals conceded. I think this is the longest cup run I've had in the game.
Drop in overall rank not as bad as I expected yesterday either.

Never been a fan of the cup . Mainly cos I normally get knocked out by somebody who doesn’t pick their team lol. An idea would be to put teams in a round robin drag the cup out longer but give ya more games

There should also be a minimum overall points requirement to qualify for the cup. It would chop the head off a lot of zombies and stop cup only teams.

Yeah instead of the top 4.2m in GW16 rank, perhaps it should be based on OR at that stage.

My opponent was and is doing very well since GW 16. Like a new WC team.
