Shimano M530 SPD Trail Clipless MTB Pedals - What shoes

Hi All,

I have a pair of the below pedals I want to try out on my bike. I want to get a pair of shoes that look more like a road style than mtb or runners. Can you guys recommend anything? What is the shoe type I am looking for? I don't know much about pedals! Thanks

These offer both SPD and SPD-SL (mtb and road) cleats. Could be a decent option. There's actually quite a few options on chainreaction and other sites. What kind of cycling will you be doing?

Thanks guys - mainly to be used for commuting purposes.

for commuting - if you're going to be doing it in an urban area - would you not be better off with mtb style shoes, which generally will protect the cleat better?

Yeah I'd recommend this too tbh. Some of them are waterproof too which helps a bit.
