Hi there. We are going to stay with family over Christmas and would like to bring my son's xbox with us as his Santa presents revolve around the Xbox. They only have an old tv that has no hdmi ports only scart. Looking online I think you can get an adapter but I can't figure out the correct one. Can anyone help or better still send on the link for what I should be getting.
Thanks in advance for your help

To be honest I wouldn’t even bother, it’s going to look absolutely awful to the point of being unplayable.Even a cheap HD ready monitor or something along those lines would be a better choice, can be picked up cheap enough as well.

There is no correct 'adapter' because an adapter is not what you want. eBay is full of 'adapters' that claim to convert anything to anything - Greek to Latin if you search hard enough - be warned.

If you find something to do what you're looking for, it will be called a converter and it will come with an AC adapter to provide a DC feed to a gadget that converts the (digital) HD signal to an (analog) SCART signal.

Search for 'hdmi to scart converter'.
