I thought the ladies only round worked out well in retrospect. I had a 5 name shortlist at the start, and 3 of them survived to my pick. Still plenty female talent available too.

Andre is savage value at this stage. I came really, really close to picking him, but just went for Liger in the end as I prefer him as a fit for my roster.

Cheers, Yeah I was humming and haying over whether to pick him as he can be hard enough to book but that is more so about finding the right opponent. I have someone in mind for him now though and hopefully that will come to pass.

being able to take Haku with him makes it even more value for me, always liked hearing wrestlers stories about him. Sounded like the nicest guy in the industry while also being able to take on / kill anyone in real life.

Ok still waiting on a Rumble number from Lord but I'll likely hold off till round 12 for that.

I'm away for a few days from tomorrow so I've left the next round stip with BH if it's required. If not I'll be back Sunday and give the Rumble stip then hopefully.

I'll pop you in for 18 so Lord.

And as for myself - random.org says number...

    16! Yay... maybe.

Ok folks, the round order is affected by your choice as in previous years.

This year it will be based off The Men's Royal Rumble Match.

And how it will be determined.... Fastest elimination will be 1st in the round!

Hope it adds a bit of excitement to the Rumble for you all, I know it's probably my favorite PPV of the year bar none so these little extras add to it.

The Royal Rumble round will be Round 12 - BH has the stip for Round 11 and will announce it when we get closer.

Ok, apart from my picks that's me out till Sunday.

    Adios amigos!

The brothers Funk are great value at this stage, somehow knew it’d either be MNG or Slick taking them but people often forget old school NWA world champ Terry funk because of the hardcore 2nd half of his career.

Necro before heading off also pmd me about a query re:Lord TSCs most recent pick

    Joey Ryan and Scott Lost

There does not seem to be an affiliated promotion that qualifies them under the new rules for tag teams.

Necro mentioned that it’s a bit tough to make him pick again since others have now gone since and personally I’d note that Individually they would both be fine and that they are actually an established tag team (the rule was added to limit less properly established teams than them iirc) having held multiple belts together and teamed up around 70 times.

For these reasons I’m inclined to let this pick slide unless anyone objects and just hope that highlighting it will make people check the eligibility of any less mainstream tag picks they pick going forward.

I was trying not to take Terry as I've had him so often, and I'd both Funks last year, but it would've been hard to turn them down had they somehow reached me.

One thing I do about the draft is when you get time to think about who you have and how to best implemted them in your plans. On the train today I was thinking of a few nice little ideas which have me excited. Now I just need the time to get down to putting my thoughts to paper.

Ive come up with a good idea for New Day, while explaining the absense of Woods.

Yeah Terry Funk was who I was referencing last time when I thought you may have gone for someone else. Didn't realize how often you'd had him but he did strike me as a Slick kinda guy.

MNG: A favorite no matter who is on your roster this year with the smaller numbers yours should be incredible when you consider that even outside of Mega stars like Bret, Orton & AJ, you have The Wyatt Family and Foley & The Funks. Hell add the Freebirds to that and you could have a three great trios battle it out while still having a top notch main event scene and thats before even considering your women (getting Gail that late in the women's round was nicely done) or Muta.

BH: Jaysus, who would pay to see people like HBK, The Rock or Andre, for shame!

Beaker: Becky is imo the one that most will be looking to this year to see how she is booked given how hot she is in real life atm however Cody especially with Dream & Goldy by his side could also fall into that catagory. Both of those are great characters as is DiBiase and this imo makes yours look like a potentially great read (is usually anyway) especially when you then add in the potential of New Day vs The Road Warriors. I've drafted Double Kong more than anyone but I am curious if you watch GLOW and if we might see "The Welfare Queen" make an appearance.

Necro: A roster full of characters people will be drawn to From Balor & The Club to the other Irishman Sheamus and the monster among Men Braun. CM Punk is always a potential star and I look forward to seeing how you will book him but one thing I kinda expect is some big hardcore spots given the previously mentioned Braun, Shane-O-Mac & The ECW boyo RVD as well as Shamrock & Blackman.

Mr Guappa: Your womens division clearly stands above the others for me atm. Others may have a fine feud but I'm not even sure who you will go with as your main one. Trish vs Ronda seems the marquee match but is that a bit of a mis match? maybe Shayna could face her friend or make a triple threat. Hell even Kairi could legit be in the shakeup there. Outside of the Savage is a legit Main Event star, Mysterio & Osprey are great workers (infact they may have been pitted against each other in last years draft), While Rusev could be great to write for but like Umaga can actually surprise some with his in ring skill.

Daithi: An interesting mix here, I'd guess Cena will be in the main event but for me Dunne could be your dark horse. Someone with great character who could be a star in the draft depending on how he is used. Similar could be said about someone like Drew but with someone like Goldberg there you have options in your main event scene and below that people like Ricochet ready to steal the show. Two different types of Crazy in AJ Lee & Nikki Cross who it could be very to see interact with each other.

Ruat: Hogan always has the potential for great writing and a mega main event but I wonder will you pair him with Y2J, Piper or a surprise other option. With Neville & The Bucks as well as Jericho we may see an AEW angle of some sorts and who knows Jeff Jarrett who tried to start his own promotion (GFW/TNA) before could be involved there too and given how much AEW is talked about atm that may get a lot of eyes on your promotion.

Paulie: Another roster with options. Think I'd be inclined to go with Reigns vs Flair but how can you ignore Edge? That said what I am interested in is how you use Matt Hardy, will he be his full on broken self and if so will Scott Steiner be involved. Those two in an angle together would guarantee me reading along thats for sure. I also think Ambrose could be an underrated pick myself too as you could show what "The Lunatic Fringe" could really be, something I think the WWE keep failing at.

Liz: Probably the most Liz roster yet, that said maybe Christian won't be in your main event. Eddie vs Rollins seems like a great fit for me but you have a few options there. Owen would work brilliantly with either for example. Im not up to date on Current Impact but iirc you may have a ready made feud between Morrison and Aries too after Morrison won his world title vs Aries immediately upon the 3 count no sold the effects.

Alfred: Lita, Paige & Melina is a strong womens division but my and I'd wager most here's attention probably goes to the huge characters you drafted like Taker, Sting, Kane & Warrior and how you use them together. Have we had Taker/Sting in the draft before? not sure but i'd read it again tbh and then you have potentially the APA vs The Dudleys or Bully Ray vs JBL which if written well could both be very interesting.

Will try to get to the others but thats a long enough post for now

Sorry if thats a blunder on my part, I'll drop Lost.

Truth be told, I wanted Ryan and grabbed Lost cause I've not picked any teams left. He was basically someone I felt absolutely no one would be after, so grabbed him as a jobber. Once I get Joey Ryan, I'm not massively attached to his partner.

Lord there's been no objections by anyone so Lost can stay on your roster, don't worry about it.

DM_7 Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa Kazuchika Okada Kevin Owens Lashley Charlotte Kyle O'Reilly & Adam Cole American Alpha Sasha Banks Toni Storm

The ones I missed out on earlier

Lordy: You could have the match that had been rumored for Mania this year with HHH vs Batista but I think I want Omega in your main event personally. The hottest free agent in wrestling vs The COO of WWE just fits for me, but you def have options. No doubt Steph will add to any such storyline too. Curious to see how you use Dream too, think he needs to be handled carefully but could be great in the draft and people would want to read what happens to him. Similarily I'm curious how you will book woods minus the new Day plus the Miz is usually good for storyline purposes.

Shag: I wanted Vince this year and I know i'll be watching closely to how he's used but yours is another one where you could go a number of ways with your roster. Angle is an obvious main eventer but almost anyone else could be elevated to that level especially if paired with Kurt who could as easily face off against the likes of Zach Sabre Jr, Almas and Riddle or Hall Perfect or Naito and to tell the truth i'd love to see any of them vs a prime Angle.

Slick: Brock can sometimes be a problem for a roster as not everyone can legit go up against someone of his ilk. That is unless we are talking about your 2019 roster where everyone is a bad a$s. That said him vs Austin seems the obvious route and I could imagine Dynamite vs Benoit but how you write the latter could be a big factor in how you do overall, such a divisive character but I know i'll be interested in seeing how you approach it.

ABMG: Similar to Shag's above this is another roster where several of your guys could be in a main event spot but most likely that'd be a spot alongside D.Bryan. I'd imagine many have cooled on it but him vs Nakamura could be a dream match, him vs Jake maybe would be my preference but Joe and even Cesaro (who iirc was main eventing for Beaker the year he won) could fill that role too. I haven't seen as much of Io Shirai as some but what I do know of her makes me think her & Asuka would work really well together.

DM7: Your roster has a NXT at it's very best kind of feel to it for me. Any combination of DIY, Okada and Owens (for some reason I might go triple threat of the first 3) would make a stellar main event. However you also have Undisputed Era and American Alpha knocking it out of the park with regards tag action and a trio of women who on a normal year would be hard to beat in terms of a female division.

To easy to put it all down to only 15 players this year but it isn't a normal year and it is really hard to pick favorites both in terms of personal and for potential winners. A lot of staked rosters this year

After 3am here so put up the next round stip in case there was a run of picks while I slept.

Last time we had this you pick the order round I think it went pretty quickly as most people picked people that were online at their time of picking to be next in line to pick.

Also is it still 5 tag teams per roster?

Reduced to 4 teams this year.

Believe it's 4 teams per roster:
4 tag teams is the maximum amount of teams for each roster - this has been reduced from the 5 of previous years down by 1.
