Up the south east or in Cork too? Relatively calm where I am in north cork now.

Jersey Met aviation chart. The satellite loop shows a sting jet just getting into SW Wales now.

Deirdre sent her cleaner to wash the windows at the front of the house this morning in torrential rain, God help her.
Now she’s decided to come herself to the back of the house, driving the wind chimes mental and lashing the windows with horizontal rain.
‘‘Twas warm at 12*c today, but dropped to 5*c now and the pressure rising opposite that.
Can’t give an accurate rain fall amount as the Lidly-Didly station is a bit crap!!;)

You couldn’t be more further from the truth. Howling here in N Kildare

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,225 ✭✭✭highdef

Wind is a lot stronger than I was expecting. Some very high gusts, some approaching violent force. I expect a lot of tree limbs down in the local area. Not an evening to be driving!

    Seriously strong gusts here.

Lifted a loose bundle of 2x1 lengths of timber I had on the drive and scattered them.

Wind is whistling around the house.

    South Coastal Wexford
