Recommend a POE switch

    How many overall ports on the same switch do you need? (12 or 24)?

    Are you local to the switch or it is going to be at a remote location?

    If you have the budget look at the "Ubiquiti US-24-250W 250 W 24 Port UniFi PoE Switch" which is the option I'd recommend.

    Thanks for the suggestion but the ubiquiti switch is way out of my budget

    I'll be local to the switch, it's for my house, I need 10 POE ports and 10 non poe

    ok - just go with cheapest 24 port switch with at least 12 POE ports and make sure it supports the PoE version you need which is usually "POE+" but could be "24v passive".
