I let the Rams out with ewes on the 23rd of October, what would be best date to get them scanned accurately?....isn’t it 90 days after ram went out?....were 5 or 6 ewes tipped on day ram went out.....and none of them repeated.

    Thanks for any replies.

What about if the rams went out October 7th? Had hoped to scan before Christmas but would this be too early?

    When would be ideal?

    Too early imo

Most scanners are able to scan at 40 days in lamb, some even less, so once the rams are away from the ewes 40 days you'd get away with it if you were under pressure.
Our scanner recommends 80 days from letting out the rams and more than 40 days since last service
