I do it most years, and will do again this this year.

Nice race is the weather plays ball. The Official Joe Noonan race is a 2 lap affair, starting on the Taxi Rank in Raheny Village, and going down Watermill road, along the Coast road, then back up Howth road (slight drag). Each lap is around 2.8 miles, making 5.6 total.

Last 2 years there was a single 1 lap (2.8m) option if you wanted. Only 40-50 runners most years, but some decent fast runners. Also its Free.... :)

Sorry, I mean, I know it doesn't say all that detail on the Facebook page (it says 10-11, so I presume start time at 10), but sign-up for Raheny races is always in the clubhouse about 45 mins to half an hour before start, so nip in from 9.15 and sign up!

Ok thanks. They could have put that on line somewhere.

    Is there a fee?
    Is there a bag drop?

This is a pretty small race as I mentioned above. 50 - 60 odd runners. Just leave your bag beside the start line.

It has been a free event in previous years, cant say for this year...

If your local have a go, if your travelling far, just try a local parkrun the day before !
