Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is there any point trying to fight to get money back for falling victim to the wangiri phone scam (ringing back a foreign scam number)?
Has anyone been successful in doing so?

Who do you expect to give you the money back?

The phone network operator is not liable in the slightest. The criminals are not going to be traced.

Yeah I was thinking the phone network operator might, if they were nice and you kicked up enough of a fuss.

I'm fully aware they are not liable.

I have heard of people who got their money back so was checking to see if I could find these people on here and see how they did it.

You're looking for advice to bully a phone network to give you money for your own error?

    You can look elsewhere.
