What did you make of Gorman?

    Whyte KO/TKO
Nothing that impressive from Conlan so far I don't think.

MC wobbled there with a counter...

Needs to tidy up offense and start landing clean..

Gorman looked good in the first round and then very rarely throughout the fight. I think he's far too small to make a dent in any decent heavyweight though.

BJS due in ring before televised card. Weighing in at “CW” for his bout against an old journeyman...

Still not accepting any blame for the nasal spray. It's all the fault of the regulatory body somehow. He should be looking at his backroom team for not knowing the differences in the rules.

Billy Joe would want to get a move on. He's only got a few good years left, and he's been p1ssing away the best years of his career.

It's ridiculous that they keep putting him and Dubois up against nobodies and don't fight them off against each other. Who wants to see either of them beat up a taxi driver any more?

Here comes Takam on the other 'Screen' hmmm, was hoping to go out for a a few beers.

Conlan needs to stick to southpaw here. Having far more joy there.

    Ok, half way through...

I just cannot see anything that remotely stands out from MC..

Making a real meal out of a very basic opponent..

Better on offense on southpaw alright.

Dubois looked terrible in his last fight too. Don’t think either of them will make it past British level.

Conlan's gas tank more than passes the test anyway.

Decent performance, nothing more nothing less.

    Whyte KO/TKO
Gets hit way too easy though.

    What?

Did you not think he looked a little labored/tired? And that against a lad who posed very little threat..

Hadn’t the energy on the last rd to close the show..

In a nutshell the zip and sharpness and spite is not there on offense..

I think he’s in big trouble when he actually steps up and meets someone who can punch..

Looked a bit laboured for the last 20 seconds or so after he'd thrown the kitchen sink for the first two mins of the round. He doesn't have elite power but a good gas tank and legs can make that issue a very minor one. Think he has both of them.

No need to push him on too quick now. Plenty of good fights at British level. Like to see him in with the likes of Doyle, Gill or Walsh. Be surprised if Top Rank have that plan for him though.

Do you see him improving enough to make any type of dent on the world stage?

What you see is what you get...

My concerns are the same as always..

But tonight I felt he really lacked speed and sharpness on offense..

Not convinced his ceiling is as high as when he first turned over but I think he'll still do well. He's got a lot of tools to work with and Booth is absolutely ideal for him. Just don't want him rushed.
