Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

We went sale agreed on a house late this evening, delighted.

Estate agent requires €5,000 booking deposit, I totally forgot to ask if this is refundable?

I presume it is until we sign contracts etc just wondering if this is the case and how does it work?

    Thanks

Yep, totally refundable if you aren't happy with the contract- they will issue to your solicitor.

Thanks for the reply. Have to get a solicitor now and a surveyor to survey the house, probably won’t be till after Xmas now, still can’t believe it but anything can happen between now and sale agreed so have to be practical and a realist.

Don't stop looking - I hope it doesn't, but sales fall through all the time. Until you have they keys - keep looking for alternatives.
