SEPA Transfer over Christmas

    Hello,

    Just a query regarding SEPA transfers over christmas. I assume that these are only processed during bank opening days. Thus a transfer initiated this friday 21st will normally clear on the following friday 28th or monday 31st?

    Should clear the 24th, the banks are open and processing as normal because Christmas eve isn't a bank holiday. They will close early for services but the computers rock on.

    Do it before 3.30.

    That's exactly right the 24th is still a working day.

    If the transfer is made before 15:30 on Friday it will clear on Monday the 24th.
