Has anyone any recommendations for where to get a new front upc door in North County Dublin? Living in Rush. The door I have is on its last legs.

We got one from Senator doors and windows I think - palladio door, I think was the range, and I think their website lists their suppliers around the country. If you google, you'll see who does them around here.A few years ago now but would recommend both the door and installation service.

A friend got one from Palladio doors . Based in glin in Limerick and use agents around the country.

Theres a thread on here somewhere about them. I've seen the doors. Really well made and cheaper than global .
Global wanted 6k for a front door. Friend got front and back for half that !

Search "all season windows and doors" on facebook.
Had a door put in early December on reccomedarion from friend who used them. Delighted. All in 1600

Got a new palladio door 2 weeks ago. They start from about 1650 for door only up to about 3k for those ones with the glass at the sides.

The doors are all the same, you really need to get someone who knows what they are at to fit it or it will look crap..have seen some covered with plastic striips at the sides to hide lazy poor finish.

Unfortunately, my guys would be too far out for you, but do pick someone with real recommendations, not just on Facebook , as they can often remove feedback they don't like. Make sure you know someone who actually got the work carried out.

I had about six people out to quote and found the standards varied quite considerably.

The thread on here referred to above is s joke, I found it very unhelpful and childish.

Got a door in McNally Joinery recently, they specialise in bespoke which was a bit of a pain, but if that's what your after they're pretty good, installers were very clean and particular about the finish

What i did find when i was shopping around to find comparative prices was the amount of 'tyre kicking' they do to get you into the showrooms for the big sell.

They push hard to slate the other people selling you doors saying that they are 'fake composite' doors from the middle east etc etc.

After the company i went with the next choice would have been munster joinery but to be honest, my new house came with munster joinery and they are all full of draughts and that's why i have to change the door in the first place.
The place i listed before, i was sceptical as they were on facebook only but they had done work in the estate and i got to look at that and they popped out to see me on a bank holiday and stuck to everything they said and i was happy with the install (a couple hours and he was obliging)

We just got a new door installed by peak windows in swords and they were great to deal with from start to finish.

I'm really happy with Royal Windows in Swords/Malahide.

I had them install French doors, and while they were here they realigned (for free) the pieces of garbage I foolishly had installed by those cowboys joiners from Munster.

Used all seasons windows and doors search "all season windows and doors" and would encourage people to avoid them at all costs.

They have multiple claims against them and there is a waiting list with the Naas county Sheriff's office, that's how busy they are.

They did not complete the works and the small claims court awarded in my favour. This company (fionnuala McKernan owner) ignored the sheriff's demand for payment. Apparently, they are well known for this behaviour. I'm sure others may have had a positive experience but I and many others did not.

Attached are some photos so that people can see the unfinished work which I had to get completed at my own expense. None of the window boards downstairs were installed either - left it in a right mess. Downstairs windows would not shut tight either - This is just an FYI for people to be very careful if they are going to engage the services of these cowboys.

Attaching another photo of the installers van which went on fire and almost exploded - all because he hooked 6 batteries up in his van unsafely - had to get my fire extinguisher to put it out - moron.

Anyway, just wanted to warn folks as I would hate anyone to have to go through what I did.
