    16a - helpful to have in team perhaps;
    62a - type of bowls;
    10d - sheep might sound like it before heavens open on grand prix circuit.

    That makes sense alright. I thought the clue was referring to Sterling wanting to see the ball kicked out. Racism makes more sense alright.
