Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It can also be done systematically, without violence.

Yeah but that doesn't allow him to shout HITLER!!!

Quite astonishing logic to call the person you put on ignore a coward.

The only reason you had the confidence to post such a baseless lie about me was because you believed I wouldn't see it, that's the definition of a coward.
Just like you posted content from Robert Spencer.
    Again, this is a lie? You know it's a lie, you are fooling no one, I told you to back up your claim, you scuttled off only to now reappear from beneath your bridge to post this laughable excuse;
Boards have deleted the thread in which you posted Spencer.
Jog on before you have yet another thread shut down with your fraudulent accusations.

That will change all right and I hope you live long enough to see it. If you are indeed Irish.

Yes, the current system relies on a rising population to sustain itself.

Which means in the far future there will probably be not much indigenous irish as long as the welfare state exists.

    The current system.

But going forward only the most highly skilled and eductated i.e. Europeans, will be of any use as automation takes hold, and all the low-skilled jobs dissapear.

Sure as a token of goodwill you can take in some poor desperate folks from dangerous and wartorn countries. But you will also have to alow to invest heavily for them to have skills, training and education comparable to modern Europeans.

Not so much for the uneducated and un-skilled. Unless of course you are perhaps referring to the black market?

Btw, - The many camped at Calais aren't keen on staying in France as you have to carry ID on your person at all times.
In the uk you don't and can easily dissapear into the black market as an illegal migrant.

You have to look up the word fraudulent again. I've never got a thread shutdown on boards. I have no reason to lie about you post on boards.

    Just own it man.

    That sounds like genocide.

The UN once called it replacement migration.

    https://www.un.org/press/en/2000/20000317.dev2234.doc.html

They dont refer to it as that anymore. I wonder why.

    In the industrial revolution, the spinning jenny made a lot of people redundant and poor. People thought it degraded society. Indeed, all machines were thought of this way by a lot of people. Then 1-2 generations later, people adapted and moved on (;

When automation begins replacing staff at a more prolific rate it will be up to governments to make sure corporate tax rates reflect the new situation and account for the reduced expenditure experienced by corporations. The additional tax take should then be used for social welfare and training former and prospective workers. At least, that's what a competent government would do. It won't be the first such situation to arise of course. The conversion from fossil fuel to renewable energy creation is undergoing a similar change.

All that present day immigration does is make the pension bill bigger in the future.

Nevertheless some immigration is necessary. Preferably fairly compatible.

Government spending up 9% year on year in 2018, at least when the tiger calved we had spent a few quid on decent roads.
When the next recession kicks in we'll have spent billions housing and shelling out dole to the worlds bums!

I have no reason to lie about you post on boards.

And yet you have, you've history of posting lies, that and childish snipes are all you're capable of.

    Own it.

Now, I won't be engaging with you any further as to do so runs the risk of you having this thread shutdown as you had another recent thread in After Hours, but I won't be naive enough to put you on ignore. You post another lie about me I will correct you on it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 120 ✭✭Robocop Corcoran

Can you tell me why? Why is it OK to assume a person is a danger, or even just undesirable, because they come from a country that is predominately Muslim? Why is it OK to assume their religious and political beliefs are congruent with terrorists but it's not OK to associate a person who expressly states the same beliefs as a terrorist with terrorism?

Can you just elaborate on what you are talking about here, who are you saying has the same beliefs as a terrorist and what are those beliefs?

There's no need to correct me. You posted white supremacist material.

You have also made a allegation of libel. That's beyond pathetic.

Maybe I'm missing something but your following post on this matter mentions Robert Spencer, who's Jewish. Are you say he's a White supremacist?

Mod: Thread is not, and never was fit for After Hours. Considering the last few pages has been little more than a handful of posters sniping at each other, I think it has run it's course and will not be moved.
