What have Ravens got to lose by putting Flacco in? Should have done it at half time tbh.

Annoys me how slow coaches are to do things at times. Their D is playing great. The offense needs to step up, and quickly.

Capitalise on the momentum now. If Jackson fails to get a TD this series, they have to switch it up.

Ravens D/ST keeping them in it.

    Annnnndddd a killer holding penalty!!

Don't worry - the Chargers love shooting themselves in the foot.

    That's a disaster for them.

It's not just Jackson playing poorly though, their OL is being destroyed and Chargers have good coverage most of the time. Flacco doesn't have the scrambling/running ability that Jackson has (as was seen in the play called back).

Ah stop. They just can't get anything going

Big let off for the chargers. They really need to move the ball on this next drive as Baltimore are starting to cause issues now

This game can't end soon enough.

    Terrible spot there.

Shows how automatic Tucker usually is when the crowd were celebrating that just as it left his boot! :pac:

Looking ahead to the Bears/Eagles game tomorrow night, Trey Burton was added to the injury report tonight with a groin injury which is concerning..

And Burton is inactive. Big loss.
Wonder how he got hurt as he had a day off yesterday.

Eddie Jackson is back which is good.

Burton is a massive loss. Can see Eagles shutting down the running game tonight, and T-biscuit will miss him massively if so.

Although him being so good with his legs will help extend plays.

Really looking forward to the game anyway. Seeing a playoff game in Chicago for the first time in a while adds to it too, imo.

    That's game.

I'd be furious if I was a Ravens player and they don't switch to Flacco. The last two drives were the perfect opportunity for them to steal the game, completely wasted.

Best rushing attack in the league and you don’t go for it on 4th and 1.
You deserve to lose I think.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,053 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

That is awful close. Could be a TD.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

I think it is a TD

looked like a TD to me in real time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,172 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

Has to be if they gave the Texans one last night. More in position/control when breaking the line.

Yip, and that might be enough to end it, esp if the Ravens don't make a QB change.

    Whaaaaatttt????

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,172 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

    NFL conspiracy theories inbound....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 988 ✭✭✭brendanwalsh

Yup. TD. That's a wrap. Jackson not good enough due to inexperience.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

What's this, multiple replays and discussion about a game defining play? Obviously not ESPN we are watching.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

Even the spot is too far away. WTF happened there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,778 ✭✭✭Big Pussy Bonpensiero

    Cowards. Clear TD.

Ridiculous. And look at the spot.
    NFL keeping it close again?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,248 ✭✭✭✭BoJack Horseman

    That was literally a TD.

And now they place the ball at the wrong spot

And now the Ravens get a TD??!!

well the NFL seems to be staying with the calls on the field this weekend

Talk about walking at the wrong time. Just went to the shop when it ended the third. Thought that wasn't going to be looked at. What's going on?

    Or...maybe not?

    Get it together refs

Seriously .....Chargers.....what the Hell. They don't make things easy.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,438 ✭✭✭j8wk2feszrnpao

    This is just crazy stuff.

    No TD. He lost control

Should have been a TD on the previous play so that's fair enough if this stands

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,341 ✭✭✭el Fenomeno

That doesn't look like a Chargers TD for me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,778 ✭✭✭Big Pussy Bonpensiero

In fairness that's a tough call. Shouldn't be any need for it though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

Whatever about this play, the previous TD review and spot decision were atrocious. Unless there is something I'm completely missing.

    Don't think anybody know!

Looked like a sure SD TD, wasn't given.
Ball placed shorter than where it should have been.
Looked like Gordon fumbled, Ravens returned it for a TD but TD given to SD.
They have now ruled Gordon short and it's 4th down.

    Definitely over now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Chargers should go for it on 4th. A TD would end the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Well it was a TD eventually

Finally, the right result from 7mins ago.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,778 ✭✭✭Big Pussy Bonpensiero

    Game over surely.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,053 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

That's the game right there. Even if Flacco comes in there seems no way back now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,033 ✭✭✭irishrover99

Chargers go for on 4th and goal and Baltimore don’t when 4th and 1.

    Game changing decisions.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,248 ✭✭✭✭BoJack Horseman

That 2pt conversion defending was terrible

    Game over man, game over.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,434 ✭✭✭Jolly Red Giant

    Game over surely.

And the Chargers still have a habit of shooting themselves in the foot.

    Time will tell

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

Man, after the run the Ravens team had, this must be a gutting performance to watch
