It's "lazy" to suggest the issues are the QB, but not "lazy" to suggest the season is all because of the QB :P

It definitely would be but I don't think I posted that anywhere.

Jackson was the better QB this season and brought them to the playoffs. That is not the same thing as saying it was 'all because of him'.

Onto this game, this turnover could get the Bears going

We need a strong gust of wind to knock over Alshon and injure him again.

You deserve that after such a mean spirited (but funny) comment

Bad throw, too far inside, towards the coverage.
    Nice pick though.

I hope this is a preview of what Denver's defense could be next year!!

Eagles are winning the game at the line on both sides so far. Need to get going soon.

I maintain we should have lost to the Vikings so we could play them today. They are dreadful :pac:

Didn't realise that was a scenario, but definitely would've been worth considering. The Eagles are not a normal 9-7 team.

What the F is Bennett at . Plank

Unbelievable. Throwing off his back foot, side arm, and that catch was insane.

    Cutler-esque

It was a thing of beauty, but not sure I'd be happy to see it very often. Those throws tend to have less than favourable outcomes.

The Bennett penalty was beyond stupid, going at Long not once but twice.

Sproles and cohen two savages. 5'6" and built like sh1t houses.

Trubisky in the tent. Take my leg :(

You have to be mental to want to play NFL at their size. Balls of steel.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

For Trubiskys' sake I hope he can come back in. Cutler never recovered from riding that bike in the Championship game.

Reminds me of when I'd see Peter Stringer during the anthems....the camera panning across and suddenly has to drop 2 foot to get him in frame.

Injured and still producing. Trubisky is a magician

Worth the trade for that catch alone. **** me

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Fair play to Foles standing in and delivering there...all the while with injured ribs. He needs to be a starter somewhere next year.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

    Holy....what a throw....what a catch, complete madness.

Yeah was thinking about that. If he made another run with the Eagles they'd have some decision to make.

Wouldn't mind seeing him in Denver.

Keenum was an awful pick up.

    Forcing it too much.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

Doesn't look so great when its one Eagles player surrounded by about four Bears!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Uhhhh, that was an awful throw from Foles. Receiver nowhere near that ball

Think we are on the hook to the tune of $18m for Keenum next year, so whatever the decision it will be hard to take.

Eagles are paying Foles $12m this year to be a backup

    **sharp change of opinion**
What a bum, second int of the game in the endzone.

This things happen when you are hurried and you try and complete a pass rather than throw the ball away ala Brees, Brady, Rodgers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Thats where a really good QB would have cut the losees and thrown it away. Lost out on 3 points.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,172 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

    Some pick if it stands.

    Nope!

I think that interception won't stand.

    Unlucky, but not a catch.

    Two dicey QB's.....

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

oh my that was close. incomplete by the looks of things. Great drive on the ball and hands to catch it. Living dangerously the Bears are.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,053 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

    Bears got lucky there.

    Loving this game.

So much tension on every play. A real playoff feel to it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,401 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

    "Remember. No force outs anymore."

That has been a rule for about 10 years now, Cris. But thanks.

Agreed, a first down is big. A single mistake or big play could win the game. Special teams play could play a factor. There's a lot to be said for a close, low scoring game.

Al Michael's is still a great commentator at 74 years of age. And I mean great, still as sharp as ever. If somebody new to the game had to guess his age based on his voice and commentary I'd guess they'd go late forties or early fifties.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

    The Eagles indiscipline is infuriating.

Two big, and stupid, penalties in this half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,401 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

This is what annoys me about Matt Nagy. Not running on 3rd and 3 in that spot, but you hand it off to your 4th string RB. Bailed out by a defensive penalty.

Just hand the damn ball to Howard and don't be cute.

    Unbelievable defense by Leblanc

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,053 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

    Great play by LeBlanc there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

    I've never seen that. Mental.

Officials blew it dead as well though?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Bears hoping the new lax catch rule does not come into effect here. Great football all around, throw, catch attempt and defense.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,172 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

Just for people who were giving about ESPN and their handling of the reviews, NBC just showed a 30/45 second ad for America's Got Talent. They did go split screen but still no matter the network they are in it for commercial gain/money.

why didnt a philly player recover that ball

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

How did no player pick up the ball one way or the other??

This is a huge call coming up in the context of the way this game has gone.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,401 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

Obviously it should be Bears ball at the 2 yardine. Because NFL.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,172 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

Wonder did it come from the ref going for the ball? Was it blown dead before an Eagle would have had a chance to recover?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

    WTF is that
