Nah, like I have seen enough of those USA promos over the years, this was something else. It was drivel, no matter what nationality you are.

I think the Cody promo showed why scripts and a general lay out can be good. He seemed to lose his train of thought more than once and ended up rambling.

I couldn't finish it and usually I like a soppy Cody promo. Just ill advised but in the grand scheme of things it will be forgotten.

The promo was scuttery shíte but it will always play well over there. Yanks adore that crap. The international crowd just have to sit through that stuff.

It's not just wrestling either, same last night at UFC. USA guy, Chandler, vs a Brazilian, Oliveira in the main event in yeehaw Texas and big "USA! USA! USA!" chants in the first round. There was zero nationalistic stuff in the build-up as far as I'm aware but they took it upon themselves to do it.

Chandler getting knocked out in the 2nd round quickly softened their cough though.

Yeah it was Wade Keller but QT marshall may have pre empted the story by describing the situation with regards to booking and how nuts it is and the fact that there doesn’t seem to be any meetings between the EVPs on tv days.

Managed to get tickets for the Friday Dynamite (front row), the fan fest and Double or Nothing. Ticketmaster here is AWFUL compared to home which is really saying something. Fan Fest should be interesting now.

More inter-company stuff coming up, Ren Narita of NJPW announced as appearing on Dark against Royce Isaacs. He shadowed Nagata last week on Dynamite and is probably the most highly rated Young Lion in the dojo system along with Shota Umino. Narita always brings some fire, should be a good one.

It's kind of odd that Ogogo spent what seemed like months on Dark sewing the seeds for his eventual heel turn by displaying his respect for and loyalty to QT, then all of a sudden sudden he hates the USA and starts feuding with Cody on that basis.

It's only odd until you remember that Cody has been trying to get a trademark for "American Dream" and has been turned down a few times because it was not currently used in entertainment services, specifically 'live performances by a wrestler'. Having a patriotic angle as a start to using the term means he will be in a better position next time he files for the trademark.
