Hard to tell when we haven't seen a replay.

Looked like he dived at his knees IMO, angle wasn't great.

    TG4 commentator losing his mind.

Claimed Joey's fist pump was him giving the fingers to the crowd and said it was such bad form.

Nothing said about booking the kicker though.

    There was a replay.

Surely the ref should have gone to TMO at least.
Tom Farrell and Kelliher have been excellent.

Murray is a pr*ck with his constant going on

Ref listening to Munster players Connacht captain needs to be stronger. At least should have sent the try up to TMO and also O Mahony no arms tackle on Cathy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,550 ✭✭✭irishgeo

The ref is poor. Letting Munster away with everything and penalising connacht every chance he gets.

    Discipline awful from Connacht

    He isnt at all.

Take off the blinkers dived at Carthys feet after he kicked the ball. Try was 50/50 so ref should have a look.

Wasnt a 50/50 ref shouldnt have to have look

We'll go nowhere if every team who gets a lineout within 15m of the in goal area is basically guaranteed a try. Maul defence needs some very serious looking at.

There’s no booing when there’s no question over the try.

The crowd were riled up over what they thought was a forward pass.
    Get over it.

    Great finish by Carbery.

Munster bench showing now. Game hinged on the try and tackle that the ref didn't look at. Poor showing from him, don't think he's up to the level.

Connacht look tired now. I feared once they were so under strength that this game would be a step too far for them up against a fully loaded Munster side.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,442 ✭✭✭its_phil

Ball goes over left hand of Munster players finger tips. Crooked is hardly given these days but come on?

He said they looked at the tackle and there was no foul play!

Bleyendaal - Carbery could be a handy axis

What are you on about? The only booing was looking for the ref to check a try with the TMO. Why would the Connacht fans be booing him...

Meant try for check back, tackle he dived at the legs of the kicker, late.

As he was taking the conversion I believe is what he's referring to

They are booing the ref poor decisions. Quite rightly so. The oh so holy Munster fans never ever boo anything of course. 🙄

Ref can review until the conversion and then it's done isn't it. They were communicating with/to the ref

He said non stop all match.

And I gave the detail on the booing for that conversion, as have several other posters, If people think he was being booed they to rethink how the watch a game.

There's a sublime irony when one set of fans have a go at other fans for booing decisions made by the referee.

Munster booed off a referee who had handed out 2 yellows and a red to the opposition in one half.

We could get the tape out of the Thomond Park and Keatley if you’d like to be so self righteous?
