We moved to the sticks recently and there is no Broadband whatsoever. Mobile coverage is up and down all over the house but it is our only option for bb at the mo. I've an old 3 dongle and would like to unlock it to test other providers.
3 would take up to 20 days to send code and I've seen websites online that you put the IMEI in and it gives you the code.
    Are they safe?
Same with the guys selling codes on eBay. Are they legit?
    Thanks

As with anything on ebay, look at the rating and some recent feedback. IMO if a seller has anything less than 99.5 rating for unlock codes, steer clear.

If they can't unlock it, they should refund you if you can prove (by video) that it didn't work but they usually know by model & IMEI if it's unlockable and won't sell you a code if they don't have one for your specific modem.
