Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I swear City score that exact cutback goal every game

EDIT: And they almost scored the exact same goal again!

    After starting off fairly decent.

Why are City getting such early goals lately.

Chelsea look very poor at the back.

Missed the game yesterday, glad to see our crisis is over and we're title contenders again.

    Savage goal really

Have the concerns about Keita been largely put to bed after yesterday then?

He looked sharp and that was a gorgeous ball to Bobby for Salah's goal.

Obviously it's one thing to do it at home against Bournmouth and another away to Barca or something, but I've little doubt he'll continue to grow into his role.

No, definitely not. I wouldn't trust him away to Utd for example, he can continue to bed in against fodder at home, a couple of slightly above par games hasn't won me over yet, nor many people I assume.

    That's the end of that.

I guess it saves me. Some. Of my afternoon anyway.

Think Chelsea are looking for a belly rub or something.

I know its not great, but on the bright side at least its Chelsea getting ripped a new one.......

Chlesea doing their best to throw away top four, they really have fallien from the start of the season when they looked like being title contenders

We don't play Chelsea for another two months, just have to hope they're awful then too

I fancy City to win all their home games from here on in being honest. It's the away games where I feel they could slip up and drop points.

Embarrassing stuff from Chelsea though. Seems like they have fallen of a cliff since new years under Sarri.

Just saw the Chelsea score. You have to laugh really.

Just annoying that when we played them they were in fine fettle...and don't you know Hazard will fancy it once the return game happens.

Ffs Chelsea. Every time I check the score it's another one.

    Think I'll stop checking.........

Barkley error was so bad you'd wonder if his bitter side kicked in and did it on purpose.

    Evertonians delighted.

4-0 think I'll switch it off.

Didn't this keeper cost even more than Alisson?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,928 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Silva might not be the next manager sacked.

Chelsea players with a sulk on again.

The fact we are competing with this City team is astonishing

I just realised it's exactly 5 years to the weekend that we put 4 past Arsenal in 20 minutes

Chelsea players want to change manager it seems. Hazzard is the leader there, what he says goes, he downs gloves when ever he feels like it and everyone follows until the manager is gone at which point he plays at 100% again. He done it to Jose and Conte, and now he's doing it again.

Chelsea doing a great Burton Albion impersonation......

Does not help the goal difference balance either which could be very important.

Not according to the table which they say never lies.

Not according to the only stat that matters.

Again, this was never something we were going to compete on and it's mental to fixate on imo.

I'd say city are heavy favourites now.

I'm not being defeatist, before some accuse me, but we now have to now go to OT and win.

To be fair.... Pepe has these lads firing on all cylinders today. Long may it not continue.

    I don't think so.

We'll go top until they play a few days later but I honestly feel that could be the last time we are this season.

Of course we can compete it and before today we were only 4 goals behind so we were within touching distance.

Don't agree about Utd game, can't call it a must win at this stage.

City will drop points again this season.

We have a game in hand....a draw will put us one clear. They play again the same night we play Watford?

    I will give you 1

20/1 odds (I'll bet a fiver!) that city have ay least 10 better GD than us by seasons end.

City have lost games to Crystal Palace, Leicester, and Newcastle this season, they might win every remaining game, but chances are they won't.

Sorry not a gambler but easy to say now that City are 8 better off.

Liverpool were 1/4 to win the league less than two weeks ago

And they were dumb odds with a third of season to go. The premier league is one of those rarified occurrences where even the bookies have something to gain by fueling a false narrative.
