Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    What’s with Houghton’s brooch?

Looks like a silver men’s toilet sign.

Genunely seen Henderson play roughly 50% forward passes and 50% square or back just like the rest of the team.

Loads of possession but not really working their keeper at all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Mane has done that loads already, perfect crossing opportunity and he takes an extra touch.

    Keita or Moreno.

Feels like Liverpool have one too many attackers and one too few clever midfielders

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

The famous slow lofty cross to no one.

Mane is the only fella doing anything

There should be a £5000 fine for every straight ball into the Brighton centre halves.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Robertson was clearly fouled there, if he wasn't then how on earth would the lad behind him have also gone down?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,983 ✭✭✭✭NukaCola

Wij/Hendo take the easy/safe option nearly every time....back to the CB's or out to the WB's....they will almost never drive at a defence or play a through ball to one of our attackers.....passive possession and ball recycling, thats their game.

Very frustrated watching this pool performance .

    Sideways , backwards , sideways

    Terrible

    Blatant pull on Robertson’s shoulder.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,546 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

We're comfortable out there, Brighton not really threatening.

We just need to be cleverer and more imaginative up front.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,249 ✭✭✭Irishmale0399

    Is Kevin Friend from Manchester???

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,926 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Fab needs to be pushed into midfield.

Always Hendo with some. Gini having at least as bad a game, with plenty of those passes backwards......but silent on him.

We’re not playing with any real pace. Lots of passes, but a slow tempo. That had to improve in the 2nd half, it’s been too easy for Brighton.

This knocking the ball around at the back like they're 10 níl up is doing my head in

Looking like the January blues again. Need to keep ball on ground in final third, too many balls into box or long balls forward.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,843 ✭✭✭✭yourdeadwright

Midfeild two ,Trent and Salah all way way quite

Why do home fans allways think every single decision against them is wrong?

Henderson again playing us into trouble, need to just say fcuk it and throw Keita on for him. Kill ‘em that way, as our Toby would say.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,212 ✭✭✭shamrock55

Keita has to come on 2nd half

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,983 ✭✭✭✭NukaCola

    Ridiculous stuff from Hendo there

    No urgency’s worrying

They really do just open up in front of Henderson when he has the ball, they know he's not going to push forward so they don't even cover the space.

Henderson and gini backwards and sideways every single time.

Seriously, Brighton are defending very tightly and making it very difficult to play against.

We need to get Brucie pissing on the other goalpost quick

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,384 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Frustrating thing is we’ve created hardly anything bar Shaqiri’s glancing header.

    Poor game.

Simillar to Watford away earlier this season. Hopefully Brighton tire themselves out

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

Very flat first half. Brighton aren't showing much at least

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

Henderson at his finest and lads are surprised. Odd.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,983 ✭✭✭✭NukaCola

That was really poor, Brighton doing a good job at defending but still should be doing far better

To me it is. You can see things happening before you and every team makes fouls.

There , just actually run forward

One move forward and gini took 3 of them out .

Brighton delighted with these side and backwards passes

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. I know Henderson is playing a specific role but Christ he is so limited.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,212 ✭✭✭shamrock55

    Pure ****e, simple as that

If ever a game was calling out for a few strikes from outside the box this is it,all it needs is a nick of one of the ten lads in there and could go in.
