Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

People still cutting hendo down on here? Obviously they haven't seen anything he's done second half. Guess you see what you wanna see with some players.

He's been mentioned once in the last 25 minutes.

Guess you see what you wanna see.

The blinkers are very tight on some lads here they would actually wish he passed the ball forward for the sake of it instead of retaining possession in an attempt to draw Brighton out

this crowd probably even worse then Goodison

That the ball henderson won in midfield to set up the attack?

Brighton fans seem oblivious to the rules of association football.

He did well there admittedly, that’s his only strong point, hassling players and nipping in to win the ball back.

Strange the the Sky commentator has said twice how well Henderson is playing today.

Bobby has given the ball away at least twice but nothing said here.

Oh so all of a sudden Sky commentators are the voice of reason? :p

Gini really just gets on and does the job quietly and with no fuss.

    Mr consistent.

    Wijnaldum doing a Henderson there.

Hendo isn’t playing that bad, anytime he’s played it back it seems to be to draw Brighton forward.

Mane was in three minds there.

No, but sometimes more reasonable than the narrative here.

i.e. the kind of player every team needs.

    Mo misses a sitter!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Idk what Mo's doing there, far too casual.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,546 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

    How did Salah miss that?

That player generally has a few more strings to their bow.

Time to sell Salah after that miss.

The equivalent of a striker switching off. Not an excuse as it was atrocious.

Ah Mo. Play the whistle, think he thought it was out.

Calling handball when it hit their own players arm is a new one

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,212 ✭✭✭shamrock55

Keita should have come on half an hr ago

Everton-esque. Although don’t know how we didn’t get a free considering the Firmino one in the 1st half.

    Jesus Keita.

Stopped playing looking for a free.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Keita was clearly pulled back there idk what the ref is doing.

Trent Alexander Arnold, take a bow you double-barrelled legend.

Maybe it's best he didn't :pac:

    Jesus Keita.

Barely on the pitch and already showing his head isn't in it. So frustrating.

Home crowd has got to him. English refs seem to be weak-minded by nature.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Has he posted about Keita yet?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,212 ✭✭✭shamrock55

Keita was clearly held back there

Because he was fouled and the ref didn't call it?

Maybe, but you play to the whistle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

They're literally whinging about blatant handball and offside calls, there's no ambiguity with calls like that, what can they complain about?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,465 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

A large step in right direction .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,304 ✭✭✭Widdensushi

There are no easy games in the Premier league. Every game will have to be taken seriously. A bad ref decision or a bad mistake by a player is the margin that alot of these games are won by. A cleansheet and a goal win is the best way forward.

I suppose a stopped clock is right twice a day, mistake by the Brighton player to give away the penalty

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

    Wijnaldum :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,927 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,775 ✭✭✭✭Gbear

Well **** it, it's a win. Just needed that to start to build momentum again.

Much gentler schedule now and some players to come back from injury.
