Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As most people are, really concerned with midfield. Gini is a huge loss. Lallana and naby really need to step up and prove their worth. They should be treating this as a massive opportunity. If the team plays badly they will get the blame most likely so they will need to be up for this. Not confident but we could do it 1-2.
    Here’s hoping

Ashley Cole is a shockingly bad pundit.

Didn't we use it against Bournemouth, Burnley and Crystal Palace off the top of my head?!

There's the last time I remember it. Beat Bournemouth 4-0.

Beats the man by knocking it by him then completely gives up the space made by not being able to use his left foot to cross it and using the right to bend cross himself. Ffs.

    Some rocket from Lallana there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,872 ✭✭✭Dickerty

Lallana with a great turn on the edge of the box, then tries to conjure a shot instead of passing left...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 831 ✭✭✭daingeanrob

close again, we could be 2 down.

Can Salah please be removed from corners, I know TAA or Shaq aren't on but surely Milner can put in a better ball. Salah is so poor at them, mostly under hit but that last one over hit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,945 ✭✭✭dogbert27

Christ Sake! Atrocious defending starting with Matip's headed clearance straight to West Ham!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,404 ✭✭✭✭Vicxas

    Uh oh.

West ham look up for this

Amazed after seeing those corners we have the most goals from set pieces.
    Not from ones like those.
Looking a bit messy in defence again.

Getting through our midfeild to easy when they win the ball back

Is VVD carrying an injury??? Doesnt seem to be running too well, almost as if he is being pulled back slightly

I'm always a little shocked that we have the most goals from them as most of our deliveries are poor but we are probably one of the top teams for most corners won so I wonder what the actual percentage of our corners lead to goals because that would give us a better indicator when comparing to other teams.

I’m trying my best to be positive but I’ve had a ****e week and weekend and I fear tonight’s result. While it’s only football and not the end of the world, it would just put a smile on my face if we can win this one, and Bournemouth too, and then get a few days to try to get some of our players fit again, it feels like they’re dropping like flies...

West Ham looking more dangerous going forward.

Our midfield a bit watery so far.

This is absolutely appalling stuff, looking like a championship side at best so far.

    What was keita doing there

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

Midfield has been so anonymous its like Whelan, Green & Gibson are in there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,594 ✭✭✭kingshankly

Jesus lads keita looks very slow

When he won a header earlier it looked like he stayed down for a few seconds. Might have just landed badly.

    West Ham playing well

    FFS Keita.

Think we'd nearly be better going back to last season's kamakaze football for a few games rather than trying to control the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,805 ✭✭✭mightyreds

Tyler Liverpool extremely fortunate there that the player coming back to defend defended that play .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,510 ✭✭✭✭noodler

    FFS Keita.

Always tries to beat one too many.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,775 ✭✭✭✭Gbear

Thats absolute dirt by Keita. Loses the ball ****ing around dribbling in midfield and then strolls back after their counter attack.

West Ham are rather more up for this than Liverpool would like.

15 minutes in amd already Lallana lools nackered , but be the slowest in the squad i reckom Migs beats him in shuttles and sprints ,
Id stick Camcho right back and Milner in midfeild already

Earlier in the season that wasn't a concern. We held them off, jabbed them with a goal or two, and calmly saw out the game.

We need to see that resilience come back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,945 ✭✭✭dogbert27

Its like watching the Ireland vs England game Saturday. You could see England were more up for it.

I don't care how we score a goal but we need to score first here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Weird shot from Firmino. Did the ball bobble on him? It was a great chance.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,363 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    Firmino should score there.

We’ve had two chances to get proper strikes in on goal and we’ve fluffed both. :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,081 ✭✭✭Fromvert

    Has to strike that better!
