I hate to say it but our players cant cope with pressure since our chance have been talked up we have buckeled ,
Every time weve had a chance of glory under Jurgen we bottle it , 3 cup finals now we look clueless ,
2 lads let slip so easy in 5 days,

Did not know this was a cup final, there is so many points to play for still a long way to go, way you are talking you think Liverpool threw away 20 points with 10 games go to

Dreadful performance again, the Liverpool choke is in full effect. Keita needs to be yanked off the pitch.

This isn't some pub side you plum.

People have lost their ****ing minds if they think dropping points ever is tantamount to bottling it.

Are u joking ? The pressure on the teams goes up by a mile in a title race , every ex pro and manager talks about it ,
Its real we are nervous as **** , look atthe back line cant hold a straight line cause every time somone nerves go and they step back instead of holding there line

We’ve to go away to United, away to Everton and away to Spurs in Feb and March.

Anyone who thinks losing away to West Ham would not be a problem is deluded.

Liverpool just not on it at all....its all very disjointed and sloppy....defence look shaky also.....still well able to win this but need to really step it up....

Not a great half but we haven't lost the match yet!

Could easily be 3-2 to the hammers, woeful defending, officiating as bad as pools back 4. Nail biting time, big 45 coming up.

Agree. Liverpool all over the place & making mistakes you wouldn’t normally make, the frequency of them is down to nerves

Yeah totally. Crystal Palace, Leicester, the first half here we have lost this game management that we were supposed to have switched to this season.

    Everything is very loose.

We’ve already gone away to Spurs.

    And hammered them.

    What choke?

    It's one-one.

There's a definite nervousness in the side at the moment but this could just be our wobble.

It was never going to be easy over 38 games. They have been amazing for 20 plus games and just struggled a little in the last week.

No need to call them chokers and are still very much in this game and title race.
Time for calm heads and hard work.

Ha you’re right my fixture thingy is wrong.

Point still stands. Tough games coming up, we need to maintain a buffer between us and city.

Can’t be dropping points in games like these especially not when we dropped two already this week.

This formation is again effectively 4-2-4 with Gini/Henderson out of action and it sucks, trouble is there is no one to swap that can make it a genuine 4-3-3

Thank **** we have Mane on the pitch.

Sloppy, casual, and a lack of energy otherwise.

    But, we are level....

As bad a defensive performance as we've had all season,3or4 WH free kicks and men free every time,we are lucky

Camacho at RB is the option to get Milner back in midfield but I wouldn't throw a youngster in to go against Anderson.

The negativity train is close to derailing I’m here, such is it’s speed.

It’s halftime away to West Ham and we’re level despite playing like shît, in attack and defence. We’ve been through a lot worse than this. Whatever happens tonight, we’re still top. Hopefully it’s by 5 points rather than 2, but the amount of negativity is totally disproportionate to our position right now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,843 ✭✭✭✭yourdeadwright

Really missing Gini , no controll in midfeild

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,989 ✭✭✭Potential Underachiever

Sheesh Keita not really silencing his critics, he's been woeful.

Not seeing anyone mention Alisson for the goal? Bit of a dribbly kind of shot, looks near enough to him, I suppose a token dive would've been nice.

If we win this i'll be surprised , they're all over us and our defending is shambolic, no bench to call on either.

Once again, same as Wednesday mane has been our stand performer , working very hard, covering ground and looks sharp. Bobby trying to get involved at least but salah once again at nothing. We need mo big time here. He needs a good 45 mins. We need him.

Massive 45 coming up, Fab needs to get a better grip on midfield

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,489 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

We just can't keep a clean sheet

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,644 ✭✭✭theoneeyedman

    Big 45 coming up.

Talk of a choke is BS, no team is going to maintain the pace Pool had up to January, points per game is bound to drop slightly. Worth remembering we are missing probably 5/6 starters tonight.

Midfield still stodgy though, you can see Kieta in particular is trying to up the pace but not just happening yet. May need a bit of individual brilliance to win this one.

  • Registered Users Posts: 124 ✭✭Flyer29

Still lots of football to be played this season but it would be hard to downplay the significance of dropped points here

A few days ago we were on the verge of going 7 points clear and now we’re staring down the barrel of going into the weekend in second place. That’s a massive swing in momentum towards City

Time to find out what this team is made of now. Huge 45 minutes ahead

Klopp clearly had a go at half time, looks so wound up on bench, he's livid.

I am very late to the party here, but I've just noticed Liverpool's bench.

Matip very slack with his clearances as well always finding a West Ham player.

Fab and Keita conceding some stupid fouls then.

Yep, some people actually seem to be happy at the possibility.

Defending failing us at the worst possible time and can no longer paper over the cracks that were there from the start of the season - namely a midfield out of ideas.

Still think we'll win mind. :pac:

Ah we will be grand, not sure why everyone is worried.

These lads got pumped by AFC Wimbledon not long ago, I think we will be OK.

All criticising the defence but forwards need to cut out sloppy passing that is putting them under pressure.

    Firmino was guilty there.
