Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You would think it would be fairer if each team got a chance to score.

Man on here will get angry with you for saying this. They think rule fair. I am knot sure for me.

Wow! Rams have some amount of 1st round picks on defence.

Aaron Donald getting triple-teamed and still getting pressure on Brees.

Can’t wait to hear Payton’s press conference after this anyway.

Says it's don't deserve to win, been pretty poor since mid match.

Rams will get battered but pats or chiefs

    Officiating is atrocious

    Saints robbed. Absolutely ****ing disgraceful.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,458 ✭✭✭✭dastardly00

He made that kick with a lot to spare

That sailed through. There's gonna be a lot of talk about that on-call on the Saints last drive in regulation.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,506 ✭✭✭✭castletownman

    Zuerlein stakes

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,778 ✭✭✭Big Pussy Bonpensiero

Wow. 2 heart-breaking losses in consecutive years for the Saints. That non-call for PI was absolutely disgraceful, Payton must be fuming.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Cracking Justin Tucker impression from Zuerlein.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Chiefs/Patriots must be huge favourites now after that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Only saw the game from the second half onwards, but wow the Saints were absolutely robbed with that missed pass interference call.

Great hustle by the Rams to put pressure on Brees and then intercept like that though, result was never in doubt once he caught that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,296 ✭✭✭coco0981

    Gutted for Brees
    Delighted for Payton

That was f*cking robbery of the Saints, refs stole that game from us, Rams are horrible horrible c*nts and I hope they get slaughtered. NFL are a disgrace, ****ing c*nts!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,172 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

Goff needs to get credit for the 2 throws on that drive that kept it alive.

Punter did great to get the snap down on the kick too (and his pass on the fake punt earlier got them going when they were getting hammered in the 1st).

You are emotional but Ram did play well too. Knot their fault on PI call.

What's that all about? Hardly their fault the refs missed the call.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,172 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

Jesus every time I see the non call it gets worse!

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,156 ✭✭✭✭Foxtrol

Non-call was terrible but even without it Rams should never have had time to put it to OT. Terrible play calling by Payton that will be overshadowed by the controversy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,385 ✭✭✭franglan

Two fantastic kicks by Greg, right down the middle the second one with loads to spare.

Alot of talk obviously will be about the PI non call and it should be.
But at the same time the refs didn't make Brees throw an interception....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 617 ✭✭✭BoroMan32

Non-call was too bad to be true, and leaves a neutral feeling pretty flat. It was a complete disgrace of a non-call.

They're acting like their the better team who deserve to go to the Super Bowl, when the whole world can see they didn't deserve it one bit!

Jesus, calm down, very OTT

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

2 years in a row the Saints loose in heartbreaking fashion. That non call was incredible though. The most blatant penalty you will see.

Great game from the Rams though, down 13 early, struggling on offense but they got it together and scraped there way back into the game. Defense really stuffed the Saints from 3rd quarter on and Brees struggled to find any receivers.

Awful play calling cost them. They owned the clock before that. Shouldn't have put it in refs hands.

    Disgraceful call though.

Nah man, you must have forgotten the narrative that the Patriots are plucky underdogs and no-one believes a team with the best QB and head coach in the league by a significant distance can actually win.

What do you mean they're acting like they're the better team? They won the fu*&ing game and are off to the Super Bowl. What do you expect them to be like after they won the game?

Grow up and stop being such a bad loser.

I like you. I no it's a tough loss, but you still very good team.

Given Saints fairly recent history in trying to purposely injure players, do people really care?

**** them, didn't deserve it, running around the dome acting like they're better than the Saints now, it's bull****.
