Joining the Gardai with a JLO

    Just wondering does anybody know if a JLO caution could affect my chances of joining the Gardai?

    I’m 19 now and received an informal caution when I was 17 for several minor motoring offences.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    No it doesn't affect you.
    I worked with a few lads who had cautions and they joined the Garda.
    The purpose of cautions is to prevent you getting a criminal record.
