    Hi,

I'm moving over to Ireland in a couple of weeks and have been looking at pension arrangements. The company I'm going to says the following in there benefits documentation:

The company will make matching contributions to an eligible employee PRSA up to a maximum of 5% of base salary. There is a six month waiting period to join the company sponsored PRSA.

Does the above mean that In-order to get the company 5% match I have to use their choice of PRSA provider or am I free to choose whoever I like?

    Cheers semisb :)

    Impossible to say.

Their obligations are to make a standard PRSA available. They aren't obliged to contribute.

    Get proper advice.
