Cost of running aeriel/dish cables internally

    Hi all,

We've an aeriel for freeview and a dish and box for freesat.

At the moment we've cables running from these down the outside of the house and in through a vent. That's the way it was left by the house's previous owner.

However, there *are* TV points in the wall which would obviously lead you to believe the cables could be brought into the attic and run internally.

I'd rather have a professional set this up - any idea how much this would cost? I know it can depend on the house etc, but a ballpark figure for a quote would be handy so we know we're not being ripped off.

Can you post an image of the TV points?

I can't as I'm at work, but they're the standard wall socket points.

Have you visited the attic to see if the cable are actually there?

Next thing would be to test each cable so you can mark/name it and ensure it is good.
