HDMI cable problem

    I had my laptop connected to a tv i got as a present lately.

    it worked fine tuesday night but last night it would not work. NO SIGNAL coming up on tv screen.

    i connected my old tv to my laptop using the hdmi cable and it works fine so it must be a problem with the tv id say.

    anyone any ideas?
