Hi, I'm looking for a set of bookshelf speakers to go with my Marantz PM7200, I'll need high quality cable as well. My budget is 700-800 euro, could you give me an idea what my options are ?

I would start off looking at the Monitor Audio Silver 100 speakers which retail at 729 euro. These are a larger bookshelf speaker with an 8" bass/mid driver giving quite a low frequency bottom end for a bookshelf speaker at 40Hz. They are exceptionally well balanced with tight bass and very forward mid range. They are available in Black Oak, Walnut, Natural Oak, Satin White or Gloss black. I've demoed a lot of speakers and at that budget the Silver 100s are the best I've heard:

For cables I would recommend the Atlas Hyper for these speakers. This cable is made from very low oxygen content copper and gives a great upgrade in the soundstage. It retails for 15.99 euro per meter. How many meters would you be looking for?

If its the Gold 100 speakers, they have been sold via the website and there are no more of them available as they are end of line.
(All the Clearance Gold speakers are listed on our .ie website and are being snapped up quickly due to their crazy pricing).

If you look at post #5 John said he was going to put a bundle together and I agreed in post #6, but it didn't materialise.. Very disappointed TBH.
