    Very nasty elbow there.

Massive elbow to put Gunni down, can't see him lasting this 3rd round

Nasty elbow from Edwards, Gunni’s right orbital looks shattered.

    Impressed by Edwards

Edwards very good and for me won the fight but 1st round was close and Gunni won the 3rd. Judges cards could be interesting

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,390 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Fcuk it, takedown just a minute or so too late from Gunni.

Edwards made him look very ordinary in there, lots of credit to him for that. Definitely the better man tonight.

How is that a split decision?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,649 ✭✭✭Whelo79

Edwards done very well without actually being very offensive. His wrestling and takedown defence was excellent. He probably had the better of the stand up. Decision will be interesting but I think Edwards gets it.

    29-27? What round was a 10-8????

Another team sbg loss in the ufc

Thank God Edwards got that decision. I was cheering on Nelson but Edwards was the clear winner there

Absolute class from Edwards there, really shut Gunni down in that fight :(

Some serious TDD shown by Edwards, Gunni passed guard fairly easy at the end though a bit longer and he could have been toast. Great performance though

How did one judge give that to Gunnar. Strange.

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,390 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Even though it was an elbow that put Gunni down, that knockdown really reminded me of Cormier vs. Miocic. Hands were low on the clinch break and the opportunity was taken. Really good fight IQ, and definitely something they drilled based on how often he tagged him in those situations.

    Deserved the win
Didn't want to see two bad decisions in a row

1st round was very close and Gunni won the 3rd so not a massive surprise

well as he is really team Mjolnir MMA I would disagree

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,390 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Till has the better striking, Gamebred the better chin. Really looking forward to this, think it’ll either be an early finish or a 5 round war. It definitely won’t be a cagey fight though, Masvidal won’t allow that.

Haha, love the Scarface walkout music for Masvidal.

Irish when he's winning, Icelandic when he's losing
