Family trip to Oz advice

Hi All, Hoping to bring family of 6 , 4 kids age 15 to 9 to Oz in December. We're open on where we fly into but will be going to finish after 2 weeks travelling to Tasmania for a week to family. I don't want to kill ourselves travelling and we're on a budget. Open to hostels campervans etc. I think we'll keep to East coast…

Hi All,

Hoping to bring family of 6 , 4 kids age 15 to 9 to Oz in December. We're open on where we fly into but will be going to finish after 2 weeks travelling to Tasmania for a week to family.
I don't want to kill ourselves travelling and we're on a budget. Open to hostels campervans etc. I think we'll keep to East coast Brisbane Sydney to Melbourne, but where would anyone recommend to go to see a bit of the country but still have a nice not too expensive holiday?
