Getting connected

    Hello,

According to this site https://fibrerollout.ie/rollout-map/ we are on a Rural fibre route, and the house shows up as 'Planned' according to the legend.
When I enter my eircode here https://fibrerollout.ie/rollout-map/can-i-get-eir-fibre-broadband/ it says:
"We cannot identify the telephone number provided but your Eircode is on open eir’s rural fibre rollout programme offering speed of between 30Mb/s and 1000Mb/s. We estimate fibre broadband will be live in your area during the second half of 2018."
I made up a number as I don't have or need a landline.

So can I now get connected?
This site https://www.eir.ie/broadband/ would suggest no as the answer. 'Fibre to the home is not currently available at this address' is returned when checking the eircode.

I know from recent conversations that multiple homes along the road are also interested. This is just outside Kilreekil, Co Galway. Is there an online form to fill in to register interest? Is there a minimum number required to get the road 'switched on'?

    Thanks

    Hi there EAFC_rdfl,

We appreciate your interest in the fibre rollout. We are continuously updating and expanding our services nationwide and there is an updated plan for the fibre rollout currently being looked at and our website will be updated accordingly.

If you would like you could speak with an agent from our Technical Support department here for more information on this. Alternatively, you could contact our Sales department on 1800 503 303. They may be able to assist further in checking if you are available for this service.

    ~Kellie
