Bullies? No. It's perfectly fine to stand up to hatespeech. In fact, it should be the default.

Bullying is when someone attends one of these "public" meetings, says something GO'D doesn't like, and gets manhandled out of the venue.

They have bullied another venue into cancelling by threatening their business.
I read a few peoples tweets discussing that. Is that the same guy who kept asking the same question over and over even when others were talking, and then held onto the door handle when he was being escorted out.
He was there to disrupt only. That was obvious.
I hope these bullies get a taste of their own medicine.

They are clowns. Are they afraid of gemma? What are they afraid of? They are the fascists.

She called a recent tragic event a false flag, regularly engages in hate speech. Feck all time for her or to sympathise with the fact people complain about her.
What about all the Christians murdered by Muslims they are equally tragic events but we hear very little about them.

It's playing into her conspiratorial hands though. I'd say Gemma's loving it and will ramp up her booking of places just to have them knocked down so she can play the gagged victim to her on line audience. It plays well for her and those who are vehemently against her are falling for it each time.

That's just my thoughts on it.

    Threatening their business? :pac::pac::pac:

Coolera House is a small rural pub.
It has a business of a handful of regulars, local GAA club events, and a smattering of local birthdays, christenings, etc.

The online twitter mob threatening to "boycott" wouldn't make a blind bit of difference to the business.

More like is that the twitter sh*tstorm lead to them doing a bit of reading up on the crap that GO'D has been spewing, and that lead them to realise the likely characters from Sligo town that might come out to attend one of Gemma's "meetings". Doubt they wanted their few regulars to have to listen to the BS that Gemma and pals would be spewing for the evening

What relevance does that have to my point? Age was grossly insensitive in relation to the event and made it into a platform for self promotion.

Next time a hotel in Ireland is going to have a meeting glorifying same, will you defend their "free speech" too?

Freedom of speech in Ireland dead. Who are the fascists I wonder. Certainly not gemma imo. She's a racist is she? What a load of boll*x.

Not a freedom of speech issue. A venue just doesnt want her business.

Boll*x . There are those who don't want her voice to be heard and are doing what they can to try and keep her from holding meetings. I'm sure they heard what happened in cork. They surely knew enough about her to give her the venue and what then suddenly they change their mind?

You realise that it's also a part of freedom of speech to outline your feelings to a business right?

So basically behind it all you support Gemma. You support her views and you support her harassment and bullying of people that disagree with her. You dont really give a sh it about free speech at all because you want Gemmas critics silenced, harassed and bullied.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

As of 7 min ago Gemma is claiming the meeting is going ahead.

Looks like Gemma is opposed to property owners having the right to decide how to use their own premises

This free speech sh ite is thick and stupid.

Gemma DOES NOT STAND FOR FREE SPEECH.

She hired security to remove people from an ACI meeting in Meath. She targets and harasses her critics online actively encouraging others to do so too. She has been sending out hundreds of solicitors letters to get people to remove social media posts.

Gemma is actively trying to silence, harass and bully her critics.

Gemma's critics are in no danger of being silenced, they are thugs who threaten businesses and threaten to show up at meetings to cause trouble.

Are people actively seeking out conspiracy theories to follow? I know some people that I would consider very intelligent, dipping into some strange climate change, brexit etc theories. I genuinely think they don't believe it per se but want these things to be true because as far as they're concerned it's more interesting.

Gemma O'Doherty is a dangerous individual, fuelling what I can only describe as an anti-intelligence movement. I have absolutely no problem with people opposing her, and if that means businesses refusing service then so be it.

Yep, looking at twitter comments you have the full basket of deplorables on both sides of the argument.

If I actually gave a **** and thought Gemma was dangerous and needed to be stopped, I would be encouraging people to give her a platform. I would support having her on Prime Time, Six-One, Main Stream Radio etc. Any half-competent interviewer would fillet her within minutes.

This no-platform stuff plays right into her hands and makes her the victim, and I suspect most of these social media activists know that, but its more important to them to be seen to be an activist than actually achieving anything.

That there is alot of corruption in this country. I don't trust 5g btw or at least I feel uneasy about it, there has not been enough research done into it.
Mass migration I don't agree with. Every country has a right to protect its borders. We can't just let anybody in here. But anyone who doesn't agree with mass
Migration is considered rasist . I think it will only lead to problems down the road.

Admittedly she perhaps paints an overly poor view of Ireland and can be a bit ott. But if rather trust her then our gov.

It has been widely noted on social media that someone who questioned her at The Pillo Hotel in Ashbourne was escorted from the room by private security. There are questions about alleged assault too. The videos had to be taken down so that the Gardai could investigate

Gemma had a video up a few weeks openly harassing Fiona O'Leary an autism campaigner saying Fiona "should be dealt with" - again tgis had to be taken down because the Gardai are investigating

Its well known Gemma has been sending out dozens of solicitors letters. #suemegemma on twitter has documented this.

Its kinda odd how you keep trying to minimise the harrassment and bullying that Gemma does.

But then Gemmas supporters do this here constantly. Try to deflect and pretend Gemma is innocent and virtuous. She isnt. She's a bully who harasses and tries to silence her critics.

She meant deal with Fiona OLeary legally, which is obvious to anyone who looks at the video.

Autism advocate my ass. None of the autism parent groups would touch her with a barge pole. She has even gone after some of them who are dealing with severely autistic children.

She really is an autism advocate, she exposed a group that were effectively poisoning children with bleach. Gemma is well aware of the fact that she has plenty of followers who will do some pretty questionable harassment of Fiona. Your love for all things Gemma and making Fiona out to be the bad person is pretty cringe.

It's another very sad day for democracy in Ireland.

People may not like Gemma but to deny her the right to speak is putting Ireland on the road to fascism were the rule of law is ignored and only those the left wing mob agree with are allowed to speak.

Its funny that none of there anti democratic thugs seem to have a problem with the likes of FG/FF holding conferences when they're the ones who destroyed the country. But they will attack likes of Gemma who is trying to stamp out corruption.

Spare us your concern for Irish democracy - do FG/FF regularly use the phrase "traitors to Ireland" for people who disagree with them? GO'D throws it around like cheap confetti - she used it for people who watch the Late Late Show. There's only risk to putting Ireland on the road to fascism is allowing that kind of bile to have a platform.

I'm still baffled as to what the left fear from her aside from her hoovering up their voters. Because that is who votes left in Ireland. The unemployable. The conspiracy theorists. The freemen on the land. It's simple jealously, Gemma is stealing your retards and you want your retards back, so that they can vote again for your preferred retards. Former heroes like her and Ben Gilroy have spoken out of turn and are influencing too many of the permanently angry.

Have you actually listened to her live streams?

I didn't last more than 10 minutes. She's inarticulate. She's a poor orator. She's VERY boring. I'm loathe to give Ruth Coppinger a credit but even her scuttering nonsense comes across marginally better.

She's a touring comedy act, and you're sadder than she is for even caring.

A lot of people are saying she is anti free speech because her security removed protesters from her meetings by force. (I'm baffled she has the funds to hire security, or even a function room, but anyway)

Out of interest, if a left wing group were holding a meeting about something they claimed to care about, say, the housing crisis, and I walked in and demanded to debate how one can claim to be for resolving a housing crisis while approving of preferential social housing treatment for refugees, would I be allowed the floor? Or would I be escorted out?

    Serious question.

No she's not an autism advocate. She is obsessed with MMS and thinks any parent of an autistic child doing anything to help them is on a par with MMS. She is against any help for autistic people.
