No, they will be falling back through the afternoon. Won't be an issue with the wind off shore in the east.

Main issue is how beefy those showers are going to be later on and how well their structure holds together crossing the country.

Right now the wind direction is not ideal for Dublin as it's the longest land track possible but the direction will vary over the rest of today and through tonight.

Both temperatures and dew points are expected to fall quickly through late afternoon, evening.

Looking at the radar the showers seem to be holding together quite well as they make painfully slow progress across the country, probably just a matter of been in the right place when they hit
