    Fairly significant snow in Cork City at the moment but it's not really staying around. Some cover on cars and cold surfaces though. It could end up fairly significant if the temperature drops a degree or two.

    Snow now thick on the ground in North Inishowen in Donegal


    Had been snowing on and off lightly all day but I'd guess what is on the ground now will stay and be added to overnight. At 0degree here too.

    Was out driving and was very slippery, as gritters had not been out.

    BBC has Snow showers reaching into Leinster as we go through this evening and early tonight. I’d say giving dustings to central counties of Leinster.

    OMG we had the blind down in our living room and a cars lights shone against the window and we could see the outline of what looked like raindrops falling....pulled up the blind....it’s bucketing the white stuff!!!

    We literally pulled it down 20 mins ago and it was bone dry...wasn’t expecting it! Cars stalled on our hill now
