    Hi all,

I’m looking to replace my 105 10 speed cassette. I don’t know the current number (5700/5800 etc), but in general will any 10speed 105 cassette do the job? Are 5700, 6700 etc fundamentally different in any way?

Yes, and it doesn't have to be a 105 either. A 10 speed Tiagra/Ultegra/Dura Ace will be compatible also.

Alternatively a Sram 10 speed will do

Additionally, don't buy the current 105 cassette, because 105 (and above) are currently 11-speed.

You can buy current Tiagra, old-stock 105/Ultegra/Dura Ace if you want to save weight, or if you don't mind a few extra grams, just buy the cheapest 10-speed Shimano (HG-50 or HG-500 series) or SRAM cassette (but not Campagnolo) that you can find in your desired ratios.
